I met Nick in 2013 while we were both working at Baystate Medical Center as part of the EVS squad on night shift. He worked the floor scrubber on ground/first floor while I did discharges. I thought he was really annoying for a long time, but we eventually grew to be good friends, going on trips to New York Comic Con, Mohegan Sun, Boston, and Saratoga together. We started going out right before the pandemic hit in 2020, effectively nixing any chance we had of a "normal" early dating scene as well as our plans to go to Disney World. Fast forward to 2026, and we have had our house together in Chicopee for three years now with the greenest lawn on the block and a furry son named Indy.

If you had asked me back in 2013 if I thought I'd be marrying Dawna someday, I probably would've laughed. What started as coworkers eventually turned into a friendship, and over time, I realized there was something different about her. When we started dating, I felt a connection that I had never experienced before, and I knew she was someone special.

Over the last six years, we've shared a lot of exciting memories together, from trips and adventures to everyday moments that have meant just as much. Along the way, we bough a house together, welcomed Indy into our family, and built a life that we're both proud of. One of my favorite memories was proposing to Dawna at the Oasis concert. Looking back, it's amazing to see how far we've come, and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for us as husband and wife.
